This policy explains what information RigVale collects when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices available to you. RigVale does not require an account to read articles, and does not knowingly collect more data than described below.
Information we collect
- Usage and analytics data — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, collected in aggregate to understand what content is useful.
- Cookies — small files used for essential site functions and, once enabled, for analytics and ad personalization. See the Cookie Policy for the full breakdown.
- We do not currently operate user accounts, comments or newsletter sign-ups that would require storing personal contact details.
Advertising
RigVale intends to display ads served through Google AdSense. Once active, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Affiliate disclosure
RigVale participates in affiliate and sponsored-partner programs for the games and hardware it covers. Some links on this site — including "Play now" buttons, offer cards and in-article recommendation links — are affiliate links: if you click through and sign up or make a purchase, RigVale may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships never determine our verdicts, scores or recommendations; products are evaluated on their merits first, and monetization is a separate, downstream decision.
Third parties
Data described above may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf, including our hosting provider (Cloudflare), analytics provider, and advertising partner (Google AdSense) once live. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA). Because RigVale does not maintain user accounts, most of these choices are exercised directly through your browser's cookie and privacy controls, or by contacting us below. Requests are handled on a best-effort basis.
Data retention
Aggregate analytics data is retained only as long as needed to understand traffic trends and is not tied to an identifiable account. Cookie lifetimes are described in theCookie Policy.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as RigVale's advertising and analytics setup evolves (for example when AdSense goes live). The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
